September 6, 2016: Removed billing category "Acquisitions" (which is redundant with "Buyouts"). All previous and current timesheets which billed hours to "Acquisitions" have had these hours transferred to "Buyouts," and all employees who displayed the "Acquisitions" billing category in their daily entry form will now see "Buyouts" in its place.
August 16, 2016: Bug fixes and speed enhancements. For Approvers, correction to "Total Monthly Hours" calculations for subcontractors under some potential conditions.
August 12, 2016: When a timesheet is submitted, the system will automatically remove any entries in which Time In and Time Out have not been entered, and the Log contains only an automatically-generated "Attended training session" entry.
August 9, 2016: Usability (UX) updates:
- Added "Submitted For Review" and "Approved" stamps over appropriate calendar timesheet pages to enhance timesheet status readability.
- The confirmation dialog box when submitting monthly timesheets has returned, giving users a final chance to cancel out.
August 4, 2016: For Approvers, "Approve Selected" functionality is working again. Also added a new "Total Org/Employee Hours by Month/Quarter/YTD" report to the Dashboard.
August 1, 2016: Updates for both Employees and Approvers:
- Employees: Potential fix for the issue where leaving the login page open overnight requires a reload before logging in is enabled.
- Approvers: The Dashboard's "Total Hours Charged" graph now includes total monthly hours by Organization.
- Approvers: Added the ability to delete timesheet entries, and edit entries that contain no Time In or Time Out.
July 25, 2016: Redesigned login page to enterprise standards:
- You may now log in with either your username or corporate email address (with or without the @ suffix). This will be particularly helpful for first-time users who may have forgotten their username.
- If you enter an email address that does not exist in the system, you will receive an "invalid email" alert. This will be helpful to determine if we have an incorrect email address for you.
- Forgotten passwords are now handled differently. Rather than send you an email with your current password in plaintext, you will receive a link to reset your password. This link will be good for two hours (or until used, whichever is sooner). Note that we do not maintain a password history, so you may use the same password more than once.
July 20, 2016: Join us in congratulating Theresa Walsh from the Island Park office, who submitted the winning entry in our contest to rename the Timesheet & Billing Portal!
As you can see at the top of the page, the portal's new name is Hourglass!
Congratulations again, Theresa!
July 19, 2016: Log descriptions containing special control characters will no longer generate exceptions.
July 12, 2016: Corrected times being displayed by the clock widget so that they are always AM/PM.
July 7, 2016: For mobile devices, added the ability to swipe!
- If the current display is the monthly calendar, swiping right or left will move to the previous/next month.
- If the current display is the daily log, swiping right or left will move to the previous/next day (you will lose any unsaved data).
July 6, 2016: Added ability for Approvers to modify an employee's daily Log directly from the Approve screen.
July 1, 2016: Updated button images to be more intuitive, and strengthened multiorganizational security in the administrative Dashboard.
June 28, 2016: Approvers can now submit an individual's unsubmitted timesheet, if necessary. Also, removed the "Approve All" button, as it duplicated the functionality of "Approve Selected."
June 21, 2016:
- For timesheets beginning Friday, July 1, the category "SF/Housing" will be split into two categories, "Housing" and
"Condo/Co-op." If you currently have "SF/Housing" visible on your edit screen (and you probably do), then the new
category will appear automatically on July 1; if you do not anticipate charging time to the new category, you will be able to hide it via your profile page.
- Approvers can now adjust charges for individual timesheets without sending them back to the employees.
June 2, 2016:
- SF (Single Family) is no longer a required category; however, at least one category must be selected in the user's profile.
- The Log field of previously-submitted/approved entries can now be selected and copied to your clipboard; the field is now read-only rather than disabled.
- The "Forgot Password?" link no longer requires prefilling the Password field with text.
